Tony Gu is a marketing and branding strategist specializing in ushering independently owned foreign companies into international markets. Tony founded Sailing Marketing in 2015 with the intent of helping independent Chinese companies build ethical brands from the inside out to promote conscious capitalism while simultaneously improving sales, increasing employee retention, and earning a firm footing in the global marketplace.

With 8 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and branding, Meghan loves being involved in crafting and growing a brand, its voice, and its company culture. As Sailing Marketing’s Director of Branding & Culture, Meghan ideates and develops value-driven creative branding tailored to each client. She then oversees the holistic incorporation of that branding throughout the pillars of each brand’s marketing strategy, online presence, and company culture.

Director of Digital Marketing & Customer Experience

Danielle is a content marketer with more than 6 years of experience strategizing and implementing engaging content for social media, articles, website landing pages, and marketing emails, among other things. As Sailing Marketing’s Director of Digital Marketing & Customer Experience, Danielle thoughtfully crafts original social media calendars, assets, and copy that are organic, engaging, and authentic to the brands they represent. Danielle also consults with Sailing Marketing’s clients to ensure they are implementing best practices when it comes to the customer experience, the management of their social media pages, and the incorporation of their brand voice throughout their online presence.

Brian is an experienced sales lead, market analyst, and SEO consultant. Throughout his career, Brian has closed millions of dollars worth of sales with companies across almost every continent and has earned himself a reputation of being transparent, trustworthy, and reliable in multiple industries. As Sailing Marketing’s Director of Sales & Market Analysis, Brian conducts essential market analysis for the industries in which Sailing Marketing’s clients operate and consults with clients to provide guidance on best sales practices. Additionally, with experience crafting search engine optimized (SEO) articles for multiple Big Five U.S. companies, as well as for other leading SaaS and product companies, Brian also lends his hand to ideating and executing strategic blog articles to help clients expand their sales reach. Brian strives to bring companies success through relentless hard work, innovative strategy, and teamwork.

UX Designer

Erin is a growth product designer driven to scale businesses and create user-centric products. Having grown up in China, Erin moved to Southern California at the age of 15, where she eventually found a passion for creating intuitive and engaging products that enhance user experiences. As Sailing Marketing’s UX Designer and consultant, Erin provides thorough guidance and recommendations on how our clients can improve their websites and mobile apps to optimize the user experience.

Graphic Designer

With 6 years of graphic design work under her belt, Sophia is a skilled creative hailing from sunny Los Angeles. As Sailing Marketing’s Graphic Designer, Sophia ideates and executes original designs for client logos, packaging, print and digital ads, website redesigns, social media posts, and more. Sophia’s expert skills bring visual life and unity to the original brand visions Sailing Marketing crafts for each one of its clients.
